Global Equities Research Study Tour 2017

Wednesday 13 – Friday 15 September 2017
Commences Wednesday afternoon and concludes Friday late afternoon

Harvard University*, Cambridge, MA, USA

The CIE Global Equities Research Study Tour, hosted on campus at Harvard University, is a unique opportunity to gain insights into global equities investing and critically assess new investment opportunities and managers, in a peer setting.

Held over three days, the program schedule is wholly organised by CIE to meet the needs of Australian investors expanding global equities portfolios.

Limited to 25 select delegates, this is a highly interactive and intimate program that offers a unique opportunity to share information, gain insights, benchmark your existing portfolio design and incumbent managers, and be exposed to world-class investment experts.

For investors/asset owners the benefits of participating in this event include:

  • Gaining exposure to the best new equities investment ideas from around the globe
  • Critically assessing new and emerging equities investment themes and strategies
  • Broadening access to innovative asset managers not on asset consultants’ radars
  • Discussing the latest techniques in portfolio construction and risk management
  • Reviewing investment styles of boutique and alternate managers
  • Undertaking fund manager review by collaborating with industry peers

For fund managers the CIE Global Equities Research Study Tour is an opportunity to meet key decision makers representing Australia’s largest superannuation/pension funds. By bringing investors to you, the study tour
provides access and a platform for the fund manager to have their investment expert/portfolio manager present the organisation’s investment strategy/research to this select group of investors, removing the need to undertake fly-in-fly-out trips to Australia and avoiding the time and costs associated.

Who should attend?

Head of equities, senior equities investors, chief investment officers, head of investment strategy, investment committee members

Approximately 20 – 25 representatives of Australian institutional investor entities.
