Charity Partnership

At CIE we are committed to playing a pivotal role in the community by supporting sustainable programs run by a select group of charities that we are proud to be associated with.

As part of this commitment, each year we donate a percentage of our revenue to a Private Ancillary Fund (PAF), supporting the Greenlight Foundation, a charity with closely aligned beliefs to those of CIE.

Our involvement with this process has allowed us to join the private family that created the Greenlight Foundation. The Foundation supports underprivileged children by providing opportunities that help improve the quality of their lives within the global community. Each program that the Greenlight Foundation supports has an independent goal and achieves real outcomes that meet the charter of the Foundation.

Beyond the financial support that CIE provides to the charities it is associated with, it encourages its employees to be personally involved in the programs run by the Greenlight Foundation. Our employees are given the opportunity to take time away from work to enable them to make a tangible contribution to the outcomes our charity partners achieve.

Greenlight Foundation

In Australia, the Greenlight Foundation aims to provide opportunities for young people who have lost their way within their community as a result of family violence, drug abuse, sexual exploitation, truancy, homelessness, or attempted suicide. It coordinates programs that seek to provide an alternative vision for the people it assists by giving them the opportunity to partake in guided team activities that encourage cooperation through mutual support and loving care. The desired outcome of these programs is to enable each person to discover, by choice, a life of satisfaction and self-fulfilment through education, creativity and concern for the welfare of others.

On a global scale, the Foundation helps provide opportunities for young people and families facing hardship. Its aim is to enable individuals and communities to become self-sufficient by providing opportunities to the disadvantaged in accessing basic resources such as health, education and employment.

The charities that the Greenlight Foundation is associated with include: the Reach Foundation, Youth Insearch, CARE Australia, Plan International Australia and Anglicord.
